Kai Yuan Gooi
Managing Director

Kai is the Founder and Managing Director of Solar Wise Energy, bringing over a decade of experience in project management, sustainable engineering, and renewable energy development. A Civil and Environmental Engineering graduate from Iowa State University, Kai began his career in the United States, where he honed his expertise in green building and energy-efficient design. In 2018, he earned his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California, a testament to his technical proficiency and professional excellence.
Since returning to Malaysia, Kai has channelled his international experience and engineering acumen into building Solar Wise Energy into a trusted name in the solar industry. His leadership emphasizes quality system design, operational efficiency, and long-term customer satisfaction, driving the company’s mission to accelerate the nation’s transition toward clean energy.
Nicholas Tan Hong Ze
Sales Director

Nicholas Tan is a co-founder and the driving force behind Solar Wise Energy’s sales and customer success strategy. With a strong background in finance and management, Nicholas began his career in the United States automotive industry, where he developed exceptional organizational and client-handling skills.
In 2021, he co-founded Solar Wise Energy Malaysia, taking charge of sales operations, client relationships, and market expansion. To date, he has successfully handled over 1,000 solar installation projects—from residential rooftops to commercial facilities. His commitment to integrity, education, and customer experience has positioned Solar Wise Energy as a leading solar energy provider in Malaysia.
Joses Shem
Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager at Solar Wise Energy, Joses Shem ensures that every solar system installation meets the company’s standards of safety, performance, and reliability. Since joining the solar industry in 2021, he has been directly involved in commissioning more than 1,500 residential solar projects across Malaysia.
With his strong engineering background and hands-on technical expertise, Joses plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and project efficiency. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every client enjoys a smooth, professional, and rewarding experience from start to finish.
